{"id":1350,"date":"2025-04-24T16:29:04","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T14:29:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelandladies.it\/?p=1350"},"modified":"2025-04-24T16:29:04","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T14:29:04","slug":"educational-trips-for-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelandladies.it\/en\/educational-trips-for-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"Educational trips for schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>educational trip<\/strong> or field trip, as it may be called, represents a very significant <strong>formative moment<\/strong> for pupils and students in schools of all levels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It often represents a time when children experience what they have learned in the classroom during the year and strengthen their emotional bonds.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our association<\/strong> has had the pleasure of accompanying four classes from a classical high school in Campania, studying a <strong>personalized itinerary for the classes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During which the young students were able to explore <strong>Florence&#8217;s artistic heritage<\/strong>, moving through the Renaissance and the great geniuses of this historical period, without, however, forgetting the importance <strong>of the Arts or Corporations.<\/strong> The latter together with donations from <strong>benefactors and patrons<\/strong>, along with <strong>religious orders<\/strong>, proved fundamental to the birth of <strong>Welfare institutions<\/strong>, as in the case of the <strong>Hospital of Santa Maria Nuova<\/strong>, desired by Folco Portinari, that Folco father of Beatrice. An even more significant case was the <strong>Ospedale degli Innocenti<\/strong>, created thanks to a bequest from t<strong>he Prato merchant Francesco di Marco Datini<\/strong>, which was later succeeded by the Florentine Arts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With great excitement, the children discovered the<strong> history of abandoned childhood in Florence<\/strong>, thanks to the <strong>digital archival materials<\/strong> made available within the museum itinerary.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With equal surprise they were able to see how the Ospedale degli Innocenti, over the centuries and thanks to the <strong>far-sighted activity of its administrators<\/strong>, has been able to accumulate c<strong>onsiderable and valuable works of art<\/strong> that were created to bring comfort to the facility&#8217;s guests.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the photo we are admiring <strong>Domenico Ghirlandaio&#8217;s Adoration of the Magi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The educational trip or field trip, as it may be called, represents a very significant formative moment for pupils and students in schools of all levels. &nbsp; It often represents a time when children experience what they have learned in the classroom during the year and strengthen their emotional bonds. &nbsp; Our association has had [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1347,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[32],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1350","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en"],"blocksy_meta":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
