Prato is a city of industry and textiles. Few, however, know how beautiful the medieval historic centre of this city is!
Buildings, churches, squares, legends and unique characters such as the merchant of Prato: Francesco di Marco Datini.
The walking tour therefore leads through the historic centre, touching on the Medieval Cassero, the Emperor’s Castle, Prato Cathedral and the House Museum of the merchant Francesco Datini.
Finally, one cannot leave this place without having tasted, a traditional classic.
When: Sunday 9 February
Meeting point: Piazza delle Carceri, in front of the steps in front of the Emperor’s Castle
Meeting time: 2.30 p.m.
Duration: approximately 3 hours on foot;
The tour will start with a minimum of 10 people and will consist of a maximum of 20 people; participants will be provided with earphones.
